Who We Are
York County Council on Aging is a private nonprofit organization with accomplished staff members and dedicated volunteers who are passionately committed to providing coordinated services, reliable resources and quality choices for older individuals and families who need assistance with an elderly loved one. We offer and coordinate home care, senior centers, senior volunteers as well as other volunteer programs, transportation, meal delivery and homemaker services. Regardless of income or demographics, the needs of seniors are similar, and York County Council on Aging is here to help. We accept private pay clients and also those receiving Federal assistance. If you or your senior loved one need additional services, check out what we have to offer. Last year, the York County Council on Aging provided 142,371 meals to area seniors in need. We spent 9,413 hours performing light housekeeping services for frail, home-bound seniors to help them remain living independently in their homes. We provided 416,877 miles of transportation to critical destinations such as doctor appointments, dialysis treatments, pharmacy, grocery store and more. Whether the need is temporary or long-term, York County Council on Aging is here to help.
