Junior Welfare League of York County

The Junior Welfare League (JWL) of York County was established in 1938. From this early commitment and dedication, a tradition of caring and sharing was established. Over six decades later, the League continues to contribute to the welfare of the greater Rock Hill and York County community. We are extremely proud that just over the past decade alone, over $1,300,000 has been raised through our fundraising traditions. In addition to supporting the community by raising needed funds, members actively serve placement hours at various agencies or boards.

The non-profit organization Junior Welfare League of York County needs volunteers for our 5K/8K Gobble Wobble Race benefitting Miracle Park Rock Hill, SC on Saturday, November 17^th.

Time: 6:45am – 10am Race begins at 8am

Location: Start/End Line at Legal Remedy Brewing Company downtown Rock Hill, SC 129 Oakland Avenue

Your job would be to cheer on and support all 500+ participants and to help maintain a clear race route.  We will sign off for service hours you are needing to complete.
