Agape Hospice provides professional and compassionate care in a faith-based atmosphere showcasing the nine Fruit of The Spirit (Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Self Control, Gentleness, Goodness, Faithfulness) qualities that are used to help guide the care for Agape patients and families.
What We Do
Agapé Hospice offers a comprehensive approach to end-of-life care services, which benefits both the individuals who are suffering from a terminal illness and the family members who love them. With over 20 locations throughout South Carolina, Agapé Hospice offers treatment and support aimed at providing a better quality of life for individuals who are in the final stages of their illness. Our staff provides end-of-life care services in a faith-based and multicultural environment that creates a peaceful and comfortable space for patients and their families. In addition to our Inpatient and Outpatient services, Agape Hospice Life Enrichment Volunteer Program services can be an exceptional gift to our patients and their families offering a variety of services such as: *Patient Comfort/Companionship* -Holding hands (touch therapy) -Reading to the patient -Listening to the patient & family with compassion -Playing music (guitar, piano, singing, etc.) *Licensed/ Professional Volunteers* -Massage/Reiki Therapist -Counselor/Social Worker -Lawyer -Chaplin -Licensed Pet Therapist -Hairstylist/Manicurist/Pedicurist *Special Projects* -Sharing flowers from a florist or your garden -Making prayer shawls, afghans or gift baskets -Celebrating a holiday or another special moment -Cutting the grass, housecleaning, cooking/baking -Scrap-booking or journaling memories *Clerical Volunteer* -Assisting with paperwork, filing, copying *Bereavement* -Assisting with plans to celebrate and honor the life of a loved on -Providing food for bereaved families *Unconditional Love* -Smiles and laughter
