WUCycle! Thursday, April 23, 2026 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Student Activity Center behind Withers
WUCycle! is an annual event that supports faculty, staff, students, and community agencies for the people they serve in the larger community. People are invited to donate gently used items until 11 am Thursday, April 23, 2026. Faculty, staff, students, and community agencies are invited to shop for items between 12 and 7 pm. All items are free, and you don’t have to bring anything to take something. All remaining items will be donated to service agencies and departments that have a need.
Wednesday Volunteers:
- Help move items from Margaret Nance's storage to the Student Activity Center behind Withers.
Thursday Volunteers:
- Count attendance and take pictures.
- Accept items at the site, help unload vehicles, and check to make sure items are not restricted or garbage.
- Sort items onto appropriate tables or areas, checking for prohibited items.
- Keep the site organized and easy to navigate.
- Help carry items to cars if someone needs assistance.
- In the late afternoon, start consolidating items/tables and folding tables no longer needed.
- Prepare the remaining items left over for donation.
- Before leaving at 5:00 p.m., empty the trash cans into the dumpster or receptacle area outside.
