The Reading Tent Project is a Winthrop University program aimed at improving reading habits among elementary age children by spreading the message that reading is fun and by increasing book access. There will be a common book that is read to the children, then groups are split into small groups where an interactive game or craft that relates to the common book is performed. At the end of the program, children will get to pick out a book that is "Right for me" and take it home to add to their library.
