Recruitment Team Members assist in the implementation of the volunteer recruitment plan by performing volunteer recruitment activities to attract a skilled, talented, and diverse volunteer workforce.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of volunteer recruitment activities
- Proactively recruit new volunteers for general and specific volunteer opportunities
- Research outreach events and fairs
- Reach out to community groups to set up recruitment presentations
- Plan and carry out recruitment events in communities served by the region, for both identified partner groups and open-call interest meetings
- Promote volunteer opportunities at community events
Time Commitment
5-10 hours per month.

- Broad understanding of the American Red Cross and its opportunities for volunteer service
- Recruiting experience or a desire to gain more experience in recruitment
