Service is being part of something larger and influencing the values you want the community to exhibit. Community service builds bridges within the community, creates a sense of community pride, instills empathy, helps build confidence, develops teamwork and leadership skills, supports ecological health, strengthens democracy, and fosters networking, among other positive benefits. This service will encourage collaboration and fellowship, and celebrate the human spirit's response to a common cause.
Volunteers will assist with various tasks, general cleanup of the garden, clearing brush along the fence, building new beds, weeding, moving soil, or helping with the composter.

Parking in the garden is limited. Park across the street if it is open. Otherwise, parking is available at the Facilities Management lower CY lot.
