Providence Care serves patients in their home and in skilled nursing facilities in York, Chester, Rock Hill and Lancaster. Some of our patients would really appreciate friendly visits that include: companionship, conversation, reading, writing and grief support. Some good old fun like music, manicures, and laughs are some things they really enjoy, too. We would love for you to enjoy giving back to your community with us!

Would you like to give back in the community? Providence Care serves Rock Hill, Chester, York and Lancaster's needs for people in homes and skilled nursing facilities. Our patients truly enjoy music! Music brings many happy memories to our patients. Do you have a music talent you would like to share? This would be the perfect opportunity for you.

We are excited to be initiating a Music Alive program for the music lovers.

Would you like to give back in the community? 

Providence Care has an Administrative Volunteer program in our office in York. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is interested in an administrative career to get the experience and training you need. This position would include inter-personal communication, filing, answering phones, marketing events, shredding, special projects and any mailing that needs done.

Would you like to give back to the community?

Providence Care has an amazing Friendly Visit Program for volunteers. These visits include talking, laughing, reminiscing, reading books, and volunteers providing one-on-one bonding time with patients. We have recently initiated the Life Stories Program and Music Alive Program.

Would you like to give back to your community? We have an awesome pet therapy program, called TheraPaws. We need volunteers to make pet therapy visits with our patients. Some patients don't have enough support and really just want companionship from pets. The pets truly help make people wonderful at this time in their life. The pets must be certified through a registered Pet Therapy company.

If you are interested but your pet is not certified, I can link you up with Alliance of Therapy Dogs.  We serve Rock Hill, Chester, Lancaster and York areas and have patients in their home, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities.
