Who We Are
Pilgrims Inn is a not-for-profit organization serving Rock Hill and surrounding communities of York County, SC. Individuals and families who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or are having trouble providing for their basic needs are helped. Our mission is to serve families and individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We strive to provide a combination of immediate emergency aid with ongoing guidance and support to enable clients to achieve better stability and independence, and avoid future crises. We particularly seek to protect children from the ravages of chronic poverty. Following the legacy of our founder, Tricia Kuhlkin, we are determined to provide this help in a setting of genuine respect and affection for every person who comes to us in need.
What We Do
Pilgrim’s Inn provides supportive services which empower others towards self-sufficiency. This is accomplished through two (2) residential programs for homeless women and children (a 90-day shelter for single women, and, families of women with children under the age of 18; and, transitional apartments for women and children who have a mental health diagnosis as well as are chronically homeless), an emergency assistance program, and affordable child care for pre-school aged children.
