Who We Are
The Oakland Baptist Ministry Center is located at 1021 Charlotte Avenue (a few blocks from Winthrop Campus). It is staffed by passionate, caring volunteer individuals wanting to help meet the needs of those less fortunate. The Ministry Center is a mission based organization to provide clothing, household items, and toiletries for those who are in crisis situations.
What We Do
The Ministry Center provides clothing, household items, and toiletries for those who are in crisis situations. We also partner with Habitat for Humanity, Family Promise, York County Free Clinic, Children’s Attention Home, and HOPE in our community. On Wednesdays and Saturday from 9:00am to 11:30am, we are open to anyone who needs to shop for FREE clothing, shoes, toys or kitchen and home accessories. Volunteers can assist shoppers on Weds or Saturday mornings OR can come in during non-shopping times to help sort and tag items in center. Call/Email to make appointment to help in this effort.
