Each year Pilgrims' Inn is the county coordinator for the York County Point-in-Time Count. The Department of Housing and Urban Development requires that each county in the United States counts and surveys each person experiencing homelessness in their area. As a part of this project we give warm clothes to any people we come across who would like them.
All year leading up to the PIT count we collect coats to give out. Our next step is to sort the coats into categories of masculine, feminine, and children's and then organize by size. We would like a group of volunteers who can work for a few hours helping us to sort all of these coats to prepare for handing them out.
