Wizard of Oz Science Saturday - Event volunteers needed

Volunteers are needed to assist with science activities, crafts, and general event management at this Wizard of Oz themed museum event.

Event Description: Head down the road of yellow bricks to the land of MYCO OZ. Join Dorothy, Toto, and the rest of MYCO OZ crew to explore the incredible world of MYCO OZ. Dig for gems with Dirt Dauber Deb and find out what gems are found here in the Piedmont. Are you a courageous as a Lion? Test your courage with our mystery box. Discover the science of rainbows and light. Explore the power of wind and tornadoes. Join us for lots of fun activities as you travel along our road of yellow bricks to find your way back home.

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Lunch will be provided for full-day volunteers.

You are welcome to dress as your favorite Wizard of Oz character, but not required. Clothing must be suitable for a family friendly audience. School T-shirt and jeans would be appropriate.
