Kids Night Out Campfire Sitter & LIT
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Kids Night Out is an opportunity for parents to drop their kids off for an evening of outdoor fun. Volunteers will support paid staff to ensure the evening goes by smoothly.
PURPOSE: The campfire sitter will monitor the campfire, keeping it stoked and safe throughout the Kids Night Out programs. Counselors will be present to monitor and lead kids through the campfire program but you would be alone between groups. The LIT position is for anyone who has gone through the LIT program (14-17 yrs). They can come out and support as an LIT for the Kids Night Out programs.
LOCATION: Adventure Center on the Greenway, 841 Springfield Parkway, Fort Mill, SC 29715
TIME COMMITMENT: Kids Night Out occurs 1 Friday a month Sept-May. The hours are 5:15-9:15. You can commit to 1, some, or all of the evenings!
QUALIFICATIONS: Cleared Background Check and a willingness to work with 7-14 year olds.
TRAINING: The Camp Director and paid staff will describe your duties when you arrive.
REPORTS TO: Suzanne Belanger, Adventure Seekers Director
DRESS CODE: Volunteer Shirt (provided)
