We have a neighborhood cleanup event coming up on Saturday, March 16th in the Confederate Park neighborhood and we are trying to recruit 20 or so volunteers to help out that day.
In short, neighborhood members have expressed a desire to organize a cleanup of a vacant, overgrown lot at the corner of Willowbrook Ave and N. Confederate Ave.
Neighborhood Empowerment is planning to provide volunteers and tools (from our Community Toolshed) to make this project a success.
