Winthrop earned the 2021 distinction through the Tree Campus Higher Education recognition by the Arbor Day Foundation for its commitment to effective urban forest management. This is an annual recognition and provides opportunities for the campus community to learn more about our trees and tree care.
This specific need will allow volunteers to assist with tree trimming along Alumni Drive.
Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to participate.
Details:
- Volunteers must complete the attached assumption of risk form.
- Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
- Gloves and supplies will be provided.
- Volunteers may want to bring water or a sports drink to hydrate.
