Yap Ye Iswa is a day-long festival to celebrate the Catawba Nation's rich culture an heritage. At the festival, attendees can expect to see traditional and Powwow-style drumming and dancing, demonstrations on Catawba arts and activities, speakers on a wide variety of issues faced by the Catawba Nation and Indian Country, games and activities for kids, great food, and so much more!
We love sharing this festival with everyone who is interested in learning more about and celebrating the Catawba Nation. Along with the opportunity to join us for the festival, there are opportunities for volunteerism for anyone who is interested!
